Important note when going through metal detectors with Fluent cart vials. Spoiler...they aren’t totally plastic.
So I typically carry all of my carts around in the little plastic vials that they come in, like you’re supposed to. Today when I went to Disney I took the actual cart out of the vial and put it and the battery into another case, and put the vial into my cargo pocket and went through security...only for them the metal detector to go off for that damn “plastic” vial. I know it was that specific because they did the wand and went right to my cargo pocket and it went nuts and I had nothing else in it. The vial was empty other than the lid. Just as a warning to anyone looking for discretion where there are metal detectors you will get caught with these. Oh and as for how this ended with me, I just showed the security guard it was an empty vial and he was ok with that and I went on my way. My cart and battery were in a case that look like one of those old hard side cigarette cases that they didn’t even open that I put right into the security bin for them to check. I kinda figured worse case they would have just made me leave property with it since I’m a medical patient and I had my card and I wasn’t actually using it.
Plastic bottles form about 37% of the total plastic waste we see today. The manufacturers of these bottles have pledged to help out through recycling them however the same has not solved the menace. I think the best way forward would be to find an alternative to these bottles. What do you think?

I have been watching Destiny for some time now. I have slowly been gaining debate exp. from watching his countless debacles against low mind individuals. After attaining a high debate level I was finally able to put it to use. A group of friends and I we're out to lunch (Don't worry we social distanced and all that. As we were getting drinks I asked if they had chocolate milk, the debaters beverage of choice, but the waitress looked at me kinda funny and said "uhh no? But we have water or soft drinks." I was already fuming. I sighed and asked for coke and some extra straws (more optimal drinking speed.) One girl in our group gave me a dirty look at my request for more straws. Like uhh okay whatever. when the waitress took this girls order, Who I'll refer to as "Bitch" asked if they had paper straws. I had to work really hard not to burst out of my fucking chair laughing. Paper straws? you mean the things that disintegrate after 2 seconds of drinking and feel weird to drink from? I couldn't believe it. To spite her dumb decision I asked for another extra straw with a smug grin. Bitch then started to complain going "I won't judge you for using a plastic straw but do you need all those extra ones? The plastic trash we have in the oceans is already doing a alot of damage to the aquatic environment. We should be doing our best to minimize plastic use." This is it. I can't believe it. My time has finally come to dunk on a low level debater. For reference I basically had this face after her take. clearly she didn't spend enough time grinding destiny debate videos to power level. But everyone's got to learn one way or another. "Well actually if you look at the U.S plastic dumping into oceans we're not even 1% of the worlds total plastic contributors to the oceans. China nearly makes up a third of the worlds total alone. It would be way more effective to legislate trade deals with China to force them to reduce plastic dumping as well as get them into the green new deal. I’m sorry but whose fucking idea was it to make a straw out of paper! Any buffoon knows that paper and liquids do not go well together. Look, I’m totally for not using single-use plastic products! That’s fine, and it’s better for the environment if we do so. However, plastic straws make up 0.025% of the total plastic waste currently in the ocean. The way I see it, focusing so heavily on straws simplifies the real problem too much and prevents real change from happening. From my research, recent plastic straw bans haven’t even made any noticeable difference, likely because the entire straw problem is relatively negligible. Also, compost straws exist. They are actually way sturdier than plastic straws and I feel better using them for obvious reasons. Fuck paper straws.
